Boston for a name

So when you hear the name Boston, do you think of it being a boy's name or girl's name?

A band.

But if I had to choose, boy.

Definitely sounds like a girl's name to my ear. I'm sure I've met a Boston before.

I don't know anyone named Boston, but I know a few people named Austin, and they're all dudes.

When I hear a name I often think about the nicknames that will go along with it. A child named Boston is going to be called Bos, or The Boss. Flight of Ideas took me straight to Springsteen, so I voted "boy".

I would never think of Boston as a name for a child... If I had to choose, I would say boy, as I do know two different males who have "Boston" as a nick name, or part of a nickname.
