I'm a huge fan of Transformers. My brother has a large collection of old-school Transformers, including a die-cast metal Megatron. While I have a few Generation 1 Transformers, most of my collection are Beast Wars-era. Those were fantastic, with a ton of articulation and great detail.

yea, i had the original die-cast megatron. my mom gave it to some snot nosed kid while i was away at college...booooo

i feel bad for kids these days only playing video games...we made up so many war scenarios and made our own stories of what happened. it was so fun.

I really hope my kids enjoy playing with action figures and the like. Video games are fun, but there's nothing like using your hands and imagination.

My brothers had Optimus Prime that I played with every now and then. Although there was never really a story to go with it. I just liked to transform it back and forth.

I also played with my brothers' G.I. Joes. They had a bunch of them along with a base camp that had beds and a kitchen and stations. I would basically play house with them since I didn't have Barbie or anything like that.

i always wanted optimus prime. i was always jealous of my friend that had him.

sometimes we combined playing with the gi joes and transformers. as a kid i always wanted to see a cartoon with both gi joes and transfomers together. i would have just about pee'd in my pants if that happened as a kid.

I had a newer Optimus Prime. He was pretty sweet, though I kept losing the little plastic fists. He had a voicebox thing that said a phrase or two and had a semi-truck rumbling engine noise.

i know...you even had to pretend that megatron and shockwave were small enough to fit into the other transformer's hands...

For some reason I was never really exposed to transformers as a kid. I don't really know why...

Now Masters of The Universe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the other hand....

I never left my house without Michelangelo.

I may have had a couple but I don't really remember them. Though I had plenty of GI-Joes and Tonka trucks (when I was younger).

I had roughly 50 of them. I do not remember which all I had, but I had a TON of them.

When I was a kid, we played with dirt and mud.

Though I had Hot Wheels! Whoo!

All I remember having was some of the Dinobots, Optimus Prime, and Jazz. I LOVED dinosaurs so the Dinobots were the best.
