Smile Comics noob

Hi. I am kind of just starting to get into the comic hobby, but I'm not really sure where to begin. When I actually read books, I tend to read more 'sword and sorcerey' type things, like fantasy and occasionally sci-fi. So my question is, what comics would you suggest? I've looked into Conan. Does anyone read that, and is it any good? Thanks.

"Conan the Barbarian" is a classic comic series. "Savage Sword of Conan" from Marvel is even better. "Conan" from Dark Horse Comics is not bad, but not as good as "Savage Sword of Conan."

I would also recommend "Bone," "Mouse Guard," and "Cerebus."

Wow...I completely disagree with that statement. DC has put out some truly terrible books over the years, as has every other comic book company...
