At least jury rig some sort of heat shroud, otherwise you are sucking warm (less dense) air into the engine.

Good idea! It came with a "ram air kit" which is just a snaking hose to extend down lower where there is cooler air, but I don't think it'll fit. I might try though. If not, yeah, I could just go down to Home Depot and make one. Or somewhere. I don't know.
