| Good Metal Bands? I'm trying to broaden my metal horizons to stuff such as Deathcore, Melodic Death Metal and the like.
Anyone know of any good Christian or really clean secular bands? I really wanna find some Melodeath though
Thanks!

| Your search for melodic death metal ends with In Flames. Their older stuff is the best... but I find it all to be pretty good. |

| The best example of melodic death metal in the mainstream Christian market, IMO, is Becoming The Archetype. They also happen to be my favorite band in the Christian market.

| Becoming the Archetype isn't completely melodeath, they're borderline melodeath and metalcore.
@Mullet, that's what I was afraid of. In Flames is amazing though. However, their new album is Parental Advisory :S

Clayman, or Colony, or The Jester Race.... Other good melodic death metal includes Dark Tranquility and Arch Enemy. |

| Ehhh, Arch Enemy seems pretty anti-Christian.
I found a sick band called Afterimage. So hard to find Christian melodeath
Dark Tranquillity is sick. I'ma try to get Fiction.

| Check out Immortal Souls, especially their albums Under The Northern Sky and Ice Upon The Night. According to someone I know who likes them, they sound a lot like old-school In Flames musically.
