| Zombieland YouTube - Zombieland - Official Trailer [HD]
This looks like a heck of a lot of fun. Imagine the satire that was behind Snakes on a Plane and Shoot 'Em Up, then imagine a zombie/comedy/action film in the same vein starring Woody Harrelson, Abigail Breslin, and Bill Murray as a zombie! And a release date for October 9, 2009?!
Yes, please!!!!
"Man, these fellas really let themselves go."

| I am a major fan of Zombie comedies ever since Shaun of the Dead came out...
I really want to see this.

| I must say, I loved the whole "zombie kill-of-the-week" part where the lady drops the piano on top of the zombie. That had me laughing hard the first time I saw the trailer.

For some reason it seems that the only good zombie movies out there are the ones that are comedies...

| Saw this on the Apple downloads (trailer) page and it looks really really good - I was thinking of starting a thread myself.
Watching the trailer, Woody Harrelson looks absolutely perfect for this.
Zombie-kill-of-the-week part was pretty funny to me as well.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| Wood Harrelson made news because he mistook a reporter for a zombie and broke his camera. Funny story.

| Apparently Bill Murray is gonna be a zombie. He's listed in the credits on IMDB as "Zombie".
Should be pretty interesting.

| Bill Murray is looking really old these days. He should fit the part perfectly.

| R-rated red-band trailer right here. And boy, is it incredible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smjAUVYMEz4
Woody Harrelson + 2 chainsaws + one blowtorch mask = pure awesome.

| Just got back from an early screening at a theater downtown (two friends bought free tickets for themselves and me, so I went without hesitating).
Dude, this movie was so perfect. It easily rivals Funny People in how constantly hilarious it is (I'm thinking this might have been even better than just an American Shaun of The Dead), some actually decently-written characters, a whole lot of heart, terrific performances from not just Woody Harrelson, but everyone else in the cast (it was so obvious that they were having so much fun making the film), a surprisingly terrific opening credits bit with "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica accompanying it, an absolutely hysterical cameo appearance from Bill Murray that had literally everyone in stitches, plenty of zombie fun, and it is so quotable. There were actually a few times during the film where people were either laughing so hard or cheering at what had just happened that for a few seconds, you couldn't hear what was going on the screen for a second or two. I can tell you right now that this is gonna go down as a cult classic.
Any fans of zombie films, comedies, Woody Harrelson, and/or Bill Murray will absolutely love this film. Highly recommended.

| Shaun of the Dead was lackluster. This looks amazing.

Despite the runtime of only about 82 minutes or so, I got sucked into the story and the characters' world extremely quickly and I had such an incredible time. I may even go see this a second time (and I'm obviously gonna buy it on DVD when it comes out).
