| I just can't wrap my head around the fact that a living Rock God (John Paul Jones) is in a band with lesser rock royalty like Grohl and Hommes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Grohl and Hommes aren't worthy, or that they aren't legendary (Grohl kind of is), but it just seems weird. I just expected him to become a hermit in a mansion or something.
EDIT*
Before all the flying facts come in about John Paul Jones having been musically active basically his whole career so far, I already know.

"There is no peace on earth," I said,
"For hate is strong, and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men."
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead, nor does He sleep;
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men.”
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Before all the flying facts come in about John Paul Jones having been musically active basically his whole career so far, I already know. | Apparently, Dave is a very good friend of John's. According to Dave, he actually pitched the idea of potentially working with John to Josh, who kind of brushed it off until John started actively discussing the idea with Dave. Dave, playing matchmaker of sorts, eventually got Josh and John to meet each other at his 40th birthday party (at a Medieval-themed restaraunt, of all places), and shortly after, the three of them met and did a jam session that lasted about half an hour. Apparently, within the first few minutes, they sensed so much musical chemistry there that the three of them decided to go ahead and form the group and record material.

He seems to do whatever the heck he wants. Doing heavy stuff like this and also do stuff like playing with/producing Uncle Earl's album. Just crazy.

Don't mind waiting if it means there's a new Queens album and another possibility to see them again....
