I switched to diet, and no real change. I stopped soda all together (You guys have NO idea how hard this is for me! Never smoked, never drank... Soda my only real vice) and nada...

Oh, and I hate the sound of brushing teeth too... I have to run the water while I do, or the sound of my own brush on my teeth freaks me out...

I'm about 18-20% bodyfat, but I would like to be about 15%... I just dont have the will power.

more facts:

When I stop drinking pop I compensate by drinking like a gallon of juice and/or Iced tea/coffee a day.

I don't mind the sound of me brushing my teethe but seeing someone else do it makes me gag.

Drawing on paper with chalk or touching microfiber/ suede makes my skin crawl

This may not sound too unthinkable, but the sound of joints popping brings back memories of tearing my Achilles' tendon- the most painful experience of my life.

Coin snatching.
I haven't tried in years, but when I was younger I could snatch 2 rolls of quarters.

You know, sit them on your elbow and catch them in the hand at the end of that elbow. I won a many a bet in high school doing this.

Other things you dont know about me.

After several attempts at public speaking, and once boardroom meeting, I have discovered that when I have to speak to people in a formal setting my lower lip quivers slightly. The longer I have to speak the more noticeable it becomes. Once I was speaking, and it got so bad I had to stop for a moment to calm myself down and start again.

I become partially deaf (or so it seems) when I play live. I can only hear certain things clearly. Mostly just those things that I NEED to hear.

I time things incessantly. Recently, not as much, or as accurately, but thats mostly because Ive timed almost everything I do, and know how long it takes for me to do a thing. I dont need to keep figuring out new times for that stuff.

When I was in middle school I had so many nightmares that I eventually started to enjoy them.

I have personally witnessed a gunfight between the occupants of a car, and the residents of a home 2 houses down. Those were... exciting times.

i hate the sound of people chewing food. as long as there is some other noise going on it's fine but in dead silence listening to eating creeps me out, not sure why.

I compulsively time trips both via the clock & odometer and mentally catalog if I'm making better or worse time depending on where I am at a given odometer or time reading. By using both I can even adjust for differences in start time

I feel the same way. Except I know why I hate it - IT'S DISGUSTING.

I love the smell of both very new and very old books.

My "blank" face apparently looks mean. (And has gotten me in trouble a few times.) I'm not mad, I'm just chillin'!

On the timing thing, thats alot like what I do.

But, I am so finicky, I even time my stops. Its hard to explain without it sounding like im a wreckless driver, but Im actually a very careful driver. I do have a tendency to scare passengers, because they dont know that I know what Im doing.

Me too. I think some people are intimidated by my blank face. If I'm not smiling about something, they think I'm ticked off and don't want to talk to me.

I have partial aspergers. Why i call my 'mild aspergers' partial is becaz I'm aware of my diagnosis and try working on improving really hard. I feel this year I made a lot of accomplishments this year in outgrowing it.

I hate it when people talk at me and as if they're shouting at me, ie 'talk at u' deal.

I'm smarter than my parents and brother put together.

I like moshing, that's prob obvious

More later.

When I play piano I sound everything out with my mouth (which I leave hanging open at an odd angle) I never noticed it till a piano judge mentioned it.

I compulsively sing when I play a song. Otherwise my mouth tends to hang slightly open.

Hahah. My guitar face used to look like a woman in labor, doing the breathing exercise part. Ive slowly worked on that to a blank mouth open position, or singing.

I'm in the same boat. If I lost 30-40 pounds, I'm sure I would have severe health issues.

.....

Thing you may not know about me... I volunteer at a museum, and as such I often have the opportunity to fly antique aircraft. Yesterday involved a flight in the airplane in these pictures...
