I liked some of their stuff. Liked some of Mute Math's stuff, too.

You have issues, then.

I miss them every day.

Then I listen to the new Club of The Sons record and think, "man, if they hadn't broken up, we wouldn't have this totally awesome album."

Actually we probably would have... It just would have had more Paul Meanyish stuff...

That said, I don't care all that much for MuteMath. But The 'Suit, Macrosick and CoTS? Yes please. I think the missing link for me in MuteMath is they have the right feel, they're just missing the awesome quirkiness that is Adam LaClave. And the ridiculous drumming of Dave Hutch.

In case you hadn't noticed, they're like... one of my most favoritist bands of all time.

Dude.... Dave Hutch is awesome... but he is absolutely no match for Darren King, the drummer for Mute Math. Darren King makes his set sound like I've never heard a trap sound before.. and he doesn't even use any crash cymbals.

Earthsuit was da bomb!...but I fear that they were just too much and too versatile for some people.
For me, I liked the fusion of many styles that they brought to the table.
MuteMath is good too, imho, but lacks some of the intensity of Es.

I never really got into them. But I guess there is only so much you can get into as far as music when you life isn't solely music
