HTML disabled in sigs?

I just noticed that the links in my signature are disabled. I looked around and saw a few other users seem to have the same problem, though most links and images are still working (I assume because they used vB code).
Is this a glitch?

I had to swap my HTML for BBcode this morning. It doesn't have the proper formatting now (can't figure out the equivalent for a non-breaking space).

Look what I found on the "Edit Signature" page. Everyone should check theirs, just to be certain I'm not just being picked on.

There's an advantage to not being code-savvy enough to have had html in my sigline to begin with. I can barely handle bbtags :P

Yeaaaah....this would be nice to have fixed, seeing as vB Code is no where near as handy as HTML for some things.....
