Haha, exactly. I don't know if it's true or not, but there was a rumor going around back in the day that when they recorded it, they used a drum machine for the kicks.

In GH Metallica there's a great video of Lars doing mo-cap for Shortest Straw. He had to do multiple takes as he couldn't get the start
