| To my ears, other than the volume knob which can be used as a nice little boost, there isn't really a noticeable difference between a Keeley TR-2 and a TR-2 that's had the C4 cap snipped out. Cutting that C4 cap eliminates the volume drop and also reduces the muffled top-end issue. I did it myself in 5 minutes, it's literally just a matter of snipping out that one cap. So it really depends on why you want the pedal modded... if you want the boost, I run a relatively clean boosting BD-2 near the front of my signal path (for various purposes) which combined with the TR-2 does essentially the same thing as the boost on the Keeley mod. But if it's because of the volume dip and high-end loss, do some research on that C4 mod.
