#1 | | Brian Haner III | Guitar Pro or Power Tab? Which do you prefer? I prefer Power Tab. From what I've heard about Guitar Pro, it's let me down.

| I've only used Guitar Pro, and I thought the notation and MIDI was pretty good for knowing the rhythm and what not. But there's really too much there, compared to a text document with simple tab or chords.
For looking at specific parts of a song, I think it's alright, but I don't tend to use it as often as I could.

| I use Power Tab, I don't know much about Guitar Pro because I thought it costed money.
Or you can just listen to the song on youtube or something then look at a basic tab. |

| I prefer guitar pro. It's even worth the $$$... I don't even use it to download tabs, I put my band's music into it.
