| My distortion pedal broke I don't know why, it just stopped working. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it? |

| Nothing. I left and when I came back it didn't work. I think my little brother used it but it worked for him until he cut it off, then when he tried to use it again it didn't work. |

#6 | | Algebraic! | hmm...dead battery? if you've been trying to use a power supply, try a battery. If you've been using a battery, try a new one. |

| Not a dead battery. It has a light that says it's working and just to make sure I got a brand new one and put it in there. |

| Is it plugged in right? Guitar to input, output to amp? |

| It's plugged up right. I don't know if this means anything, but if I have it set up like if I was going to use the pedal but leave the pedal turned off I can still play but with no effects, but when I turn the pedal on it cuts off all sound coming out of the amp no matter how high I turn the volume up. |

#10 | | Algebraic! | Just to clarify, you are running your signal chain like this...
Guitar--->pedal--->amp. |

#12 | | Algebraic! | It sounds like something in the signal chain is broke. Clearly your switch is working...something in the distortion signal chain is dead or has come loose. |

| Alright. I think I'm gonna try to fix this one but if I can't get something different. This was just a quick buy from Target, and I have wanted to get a DigiTech RP255 for a while.
Thanks for the help |
