Attack Attack!

I've been checking out these guys for the past couple weeks. Pure hardcore awesomeness. I don't have the album, but their songs rock. I recently heard their cover of 'I kissed a girl' by Katy Perry. I like the hardcore breakdown in the middle. Anybody else a fan?

yep. totally. in the review requests it was claimed that they're not christians, but from reading the words to "stick stickly" and their thank yous i was sure that they were. i'll still like them if they aren't, though. stick stickly is one of my fav songs.

That sounds about as good as A Day to Remember covering Kelly Clarkson (read: terrible)

No where in the Reviews Requests was it determined that these guys are not Christians or even that anyone claimed for these guys not to be Christians; but that there was no evidence supporting the notion that these guys claimed that their band was a Christian band. There is a world of a difference between a Christian band a band of Christians.
You have to realize that we have to respect the band's wishes on what they want to be classified under. Some bands don't wish to be classified as a Christian band, even if it appears they are Christians. Reasons could be for where they wish to minister (what types of crowds) or some bands also find that it confines to what they can write/sing about.
I clearly stated that if anyone found an article or statement from this band (or their label) that they claim to be a Christian band, I would set up the review thread.

Don't assume things so quickly.

Just as a side note that I didn't notice up until now, that Attack Attack! announced at the vans warped concert that I was at, that they'll be releasing an upcoming DVD with the footage recorded, possibly along with their new album that's coming out in 2010.

to clarify, they are Christians, but they are some of the most hypocritical Christians out there. swearing, sex, I mean, I swear a lot and all but when you kick out your singer for those things and commit them afterwards, IDK it rubs me the wrong way.

Honestly, they were better when Austin was with them. They have one of my favorite lyrics in any song (Bro, Ashley's Here, and also Catfish Soup)

I will say that I love their music though, and I'm glad that Nick, Austin's replacement, is out of the band. now Caleb Shomo, their keyboardist is singing for them full time instead of doing death growls.
