No actually pet shop gliders usually aren't a smart buy because they're not healthy and they could have lots of probs. There are glider breeders, but you have to be just as careful with those too. There are a lot of things to know before you buy one and in some states they're illegal. It took me FOREVER to convience my parents to let me get one, then we thought my girl glider was lonely so we got her a friend *hehe*

Yeah I think Cali was one of the places our breeder said they were illegal in actually.

Yep, they are illegal here in Cali.... along with ferrets. Although you can go across the border to Arizona, bring home a ferret, and no one will ever know.... but oh well.
