I like this because this means Toronto probably can't re-sign Marion- maybe the Suns will wise-up and draw up a contract, please (now that the Lakers, Spurs, and Rockets have made huge moves). To be honest I don't think the Suns have a chance next year, but hey who knows. I'll always be a fan regardless.
I thought the Suns were going into rebuilding mode? And would Marion want to return to the Suns? Wasn't there drama before?

No chance of Marion signing since he's just signed with Dallas. Honestly I don't know what Phoenix is doing and it looks like they're pretty clueless themselves. The bright side is that Grant Hill resigned for a couple years and it looks pretty solid that Nash will resign as well. We're also expected to get Channing Frye from Portland...which is good, I guess. Not sure why they are signing him though, we don't really have a need for someone like him. Doesn't look like they want to sign an All-Star caliber type player especially since they dumped Shaq's contract. They are definitely cutting costs, a very Sarver-like hallmark. Maybe we can get to the playoffs, maybe not but like I said my hopes aren't high.

In a sense it seems surprising to me to see a team like the Suns resigning and signing big names like they are...I guess I don't know what their current cap room is, but I thought they would have been wanting to cash in on the 2010 free agency, with how many big names there are going to be (for a team who I don't see getting into the playoffs this year).

So I guess a lot has happened with the Pistons this off season, and nobody had really commented about it so I guess I will. I was a little surprised at the signing of Ben Gordon, especially considering the two gaurd tango they had without Gordon (Rodney Stuckey at PG and Rip Hamilton at SG). Not to say that I don't like Gordon, I've always respected him and are happy to have him here. I just feel like Rip Hamilton deserves better. I couldn't believe it when Curry had him coming off the bench last year, hes still a great scorer. I like Villanueva though, I didn't really know much about him before but it seems that he puts up some pretty good numbers, and should help out with the Pistons rebounding woes.

I don't know much about John Kuester but he was an assistant when Larry Brown was a coach so hopefully hes capable of earning the respect of the players here (something Micheal Curry didn't do) and being a motivating guy.

After all this I'm sad to see Rasheed go. He is one of my all time favorites.

Hahahahahahahaha. Turkoglu to Toronto. I love it.
Yeah, I really don't. At all.

I am excited to see what Vince Carter can bring to the team though, as much as I hated seeing Rafer Alston and Courtney Lee leave.

Can someone tell me what Minnesota was thinking with Rubino and Flynn?

I remember a quote from Amare where he expressed the same confusion of not knowing where the Suns were going.

"Well, Rubio will probably refuse to play here, so we better take a backup plan..."

Why draft him in the first place then?

One ESPN analyst suggested that Minnesota would have been stupid for not taking him considering he dropped to number five. He said Minnesota would've been stupid not to take Rubio at 4.

It all depends on what happens in the future. If Rubio actually agrees to play in Minnesota, or they can make a good deal with another team and get some value out of him, it ends up being a good pick.

Well he is stellar and I hope he decides to play in Minnesota. With both him and flynn as guards they could be very hard to stop (four years down the road).

Flynn posted great summer league numbers. He might actually be better than I give him credit for.

Rubio Might play in US, buyout or not.

Why can't Rubio just want to play for the wolves?
