#32 | | Cool enough Administrator | Rubio may not play in the US for at least a couple of years... if that is the case, hallelujah, the Kings didn't pick him. |

| Art. Just to let you know, your Sacramento Kings also managed to pick up a kid who I hung around with in elementary school, and graduated high school with. Mr. Jon Brockman. May your rebounding averages increase across the board. |

I guess it is within his rights to return to Spain and play instead, but still, that's kind of a ☺☺☺☺ move by Rubio. Looks to me like he doesn't even want to win, he just wants to go to a team that will give him lots of exposure (aka big market). |

I'm kinda disappointed that the Blazers traded him, but at the same time I also really like Pendergraph. |

I look forward to watching the Blazers as well. We'll see how far that team goes this year. Man. It makes you realize exactly how much potent the Washington Huskies were during Brockman's freshman year. Spencer Hawes, Jon Brockman, and Brandon Roy.... and I think they were only one year removed from Nate Robinson. |

I think that was pretty selfish of him, and that from my experience with him so far he doesn't seem like that much of a team player. Like you sort've said, it just seems like hes here for the glory and fame, and not much else.

| And Curry (the coach) is out in Detroit.
Can't say I disagree. I was never really impressed with his coaching...I usually got frustrated watching Detroit play. |

#44 | | Cool enough Administrator | Not a shame if you ask me. Keep that out of the West.
He also wanted to live in a city with a larger Turkish population, which Toronto certainly has... and he preferred to stay in the Eastern Conference. That's all based on what I read. |

Plus he gets an extra 6 mil in Toronto than he does if he would have signed with Portland.
I like this because this means Toronto probably can't re-sign Marion- maybe the Suns will wise-up and draw up a contract, please (now that the Lakers, Spurs, and Rockets have made huge moves). To be honest I don't think the Suns have a chance next year, but hey who knows. I'll always be a fan regardless.
