| ^^LOL.
I think if there were ever a nuclear war, I could seriously hide in a bomb shelter with ramen, water, and books for the rest of my life!
Actually, no...
But you get my point?

| they're not that expensive right now, but the price is steadily rising. i don't really care, though. i'll pay any price to get that soup! add some cheddar cheese, let it melt, maybe some ham, and i'm good to go .

| Ramen noodles: the official food of starving students everywhere!
I still eat them occasionally. I usually just cook the noodles, drain most of the liquid and put in the packet. A little ketchup if I feel like it, and I'm good to go. Though sometimes I do put in veggies and any other little left overs.
I have also eaten Ramen Noodle Salad. Quite tasty.
You do know about the Official Ramen Page, right? Lots of suggestions there. |

| ight so there are many different styles of cooking ramen
you can get all fancy and add special and make it into a entree
but i like to just look through the fridge and add a little something something from everything
so sometimes i put in an egg then add a little green onion also sometimes some spam or any light meat i can find
o i also suggest you put in a spoon of vingear while its boiling when the noodle is already cooked or almost cooked cause vingear makes the noodle better and you can hardly even taste the vingear
so yeah this is what i do to my ramen

| I usually only make the noodles. Cook them in water with a little bit of seasoning (the noodles absorb the favored water) and then after I drain all the water via culendar, I sprinkle the last half of the seasoning into the noodles.

| Mmm.
I try to make mine as close to "real" ramen as possible, I s'pose.
In a wok I saute 2 chopped green onions, some carrots, and whatever other veggies (cabbage, sprouts, etc.) with some olive oil, red pepper flakes, ginger, and a tsp. of red chili paste. Add 3 cups of water, soy sauce, and the spice packet (oriental flavor, please) and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and cook until done.
Nom, nom, nom.
Delightfully spicy. |

| Put it in a pan of water and cook it, and gobble them down!
Mixing one pork and one chicken is very good.

I love them. There are so many different ways to pronounce the name, too
"Rah-men"
"Ray-men"
some people even say "Roe-men"
However you say it, I still think this is by far the cheapest, and one of the best tasting foods out there.
Anyways, I am about to cook some right now.
How do you cook yours? Do you add things to it? Do you do a certain thing to your food to make it better??
I personally just put the water in a pan and cook it normally.
Any tips on how to make the best meal ever even better?? | Phonetically there is only one way to pronounce Ramen. Anyone who pronounces it "Ray-men" or "Roe-men" is incorrect. The word itself is Japanese, it is pronounced " rāmen."
Regardless, I enjoy using ramen creatively when cooking. Yellow or fried rice, ramen, some mixed vegetables, and duck sauce is a dish I'm particularly fond of. I have also successfully used ramen noodles in mock-teppanyaki teriyaki chicken dishes.
