I have a leak of the new Dave Bazan. It is beyond anything Pedro the Lion ever did. It's simply incredible.
I'm so excited about that one. I got the song "Bless This Mess" from Stereogum and it's so goooood.

Frost* - Experiments in Mass Appeal
Club of The Sons - Young Quanta
Chick Corea & Hiromi - Duet (technically it's a couple years old, but it just got released here in the States a few months back, so it's new to me)

Dream Theater's new one is meh as a whole, so that doesn't get a nod from me. Regina Spektor's new one is also pretty bad in comparison to her previous albums I think.

I just got a promo of the new Do Make Say Think and it is EPIC. Best post-rock release since...well, the last DMST album!

I've heard one song off of it. Do. It was incredible. They're a huge breath of fresh air in a genre that has been stagnant for years now.

Yeah, it's 4 tracks and the other 3 are pretty much just as good as that one. I think it's even better than the last record, which is insane. The music is just as amazing and it feels much more unified than the last album did. The vocals and horns are gorgeous.

Do Make Say Think are one of the few post rock groups I can really get into. I will have to check out this release.

Was the last one "You, You're a History in the Rust"? Because I don't believe if you tell me it's better than that album.

I'm definitely excited.

I listened to Veckatimist for the first time yesterday and it definitely lives up to all the hype. Not my favorite, but still pretty good.

Sonic Youth's new album was pretty decent, too.

I've been big into that jj album, N0 2. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
