Just wondering?

Before I ask my question, I am NOT saying this in a rude way or anything like that, and I'm definantly NOT saying that anyone has to like the jonas brothers.

Okay, so why does everyone make fun of the jonas brothers and hate them? Like I just don't get it, is it their music? is it them? like it doesn't make any sense because everybody is like ahaha they are so lame and then i ask why they are lame and then its' like oh i don't know. and i dunno i just don't get it, because in my opinion, then their music is really good, like some of the songs are kind of stupid like burnin' up and some others but there are some that have really good lyrics such as time for me to fly, and a little bit longer, nick talks about being in heaven. And like their music like my mom says sometimes it sounds like uhm like some eighty's bands or whatever lol but yeah could someone just tell me why people don't like the jonas brothers?

Probably because they're a disney channel band with a fan base that watches the disney channel. Never heard them personally, so I can't really comment on the actual music.

So that's a reason to make fun of them and hate them because disney channel fans like them? I don't like disney channel but i do like the jonas brothers. But i still don't get it, is that a real reason to hate a band because they are realated to a channel that has younger viewers? I'm sorry from my point of view it kind of seems like the people who hate them are being prejiduce

well i really don't care that my friends like (sorr) LOVE the joe bros. I personally don't like them because they're too "out there". I mean they're over advertised i guess you could say. IDk it's like the same deal with hannah montana or high school musical. People make it a bigger deal than it really is and just seeing it everywhere get on everyone's nerves. I hope that wasn't too harsh

No it wasn't too harsh lol thanks for that, yeah i agree with that, and i like try to ignore how over advertised they are and stuff like that, and i just really like their music tho, i haven't heard another band quite as good as them in a long time, and on top of it that they write their own music i think that is really awesome

Because they're a teen band, and they're overexposed. It's always been that way. You think the Monkees, the New Kids On The Block, N'Sync, etc. didn't get their share of haters?

I don't like them because their music is too kid-pop for me and it's extremely annoying how over-exposed they are and how practically every pre-teen girl is obsessed with them. I mean, I had my share of obsessions when I was a pre-teen, but stuff like that just drives me nuts now (jonas brothers, hannah montana, twilight).

So the reasons I don't like them are I think their music is poor, I don't think any of them are particularly good-looking or amazing personality-wise... I just overall think they're not a big deal. They're just this huge thing that will most likely be not so awesome in a couple years.

I agree with what OiBoyz said. And it's not "racist", it's just that teen bands only appeal to a certain group of people, just the same as rap, country, etc. Personally, I associate Disney channel music "stars" with teeny-boppers and crazy-obsessed girls.

So there's my thoughts, if that's what you were looking for

i hate that kind of music to begin with, but they can play their instruments and they can sing, i just hate the fact that every 8-13 year old girl thinks they're the cutest most talented guys in the world, and, at least from a distance, they act like they believe it.

The reason I dislike them is the music. I just plain don't like it. Also I believe that the so called "Music" is the decline of... well... Music itself... It's all that processed machine garbble. Also for a band with only 5 albums they sure do have a lot of junk to sell. But of course the only reason Disney signs artists is because they know they will sell products if they put their faces on them.... not the music... I mean, search Jonas Brothers on Amazon.com and see what comes up. 59 items for Music, and 294 items for Apparel & Accessories.

I hate to sound like a hippie, but they are truly a part of the corporate machine...

These are my opinions, and I respect yours. I feel that there are better/more original artists out there. You may feel differently and that's ok. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion...

I agree with all of you that the jonas brothers are really overadvertised, i don't deny that because they are.

And yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the question i'm asking here is that is all this hate a real reason to make fun of them? LIke i mean i don't get why all this overadveritsement and stuff like that be a real reason to make fun of them? Like I srsly hate stryper with a passion! like i can't stand their music, clothes, hair, and everything like that i seriously can't, but i mean i don't go make fun of them and AGAIN i'm definantly not saying that people should stop making fun of the jonas brothers or they have to be like me and not make fun of them or anything like that, i really respect everyone's opinon, i just want to know WHY everybody makes fun of them?
