| New August Burns Red New song today. So excited. Hopefully they won't wait until midnight.
Cd is called Constellations and releases July 14th. Pre-orders are up if you're interested.
It's supposed to be a lot more guitar driven...hopefully a tad less chug-chug-chug.... |

It's quite good in my opinion. |

| Another new song. Not sure how I feel about the seven second solo. But a very good song. Vocals are better than on Messengers I think. |

| I liked how short (or nonexistent?) the breakdown in Thirty and Seven is. (only listened to it once)
I was worried Messengers would be their only great album but based on that song I was wrong.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| Blech, vocals suck. Both songs sound like every other band in this genre. I've never really been a fan of these guys. |

| Third new song up.
It's pretty wild. This may be the cd that makes me really enjoy guitar solos.
Also. Review at Decoy music.

| Stream for new album is up although I got it via a leak yesterday.
It's crazy good. They've improved just about everything from Messengers - breakdowns, songwriting, intros, vocals (somewhat), and one song has Tommy Rogers from BTBAM doing guest harsh and clean vocals.

| Have they gone a bit less overkill on the breakdowns? I mean they have way better breakdowns then a lot of bands (like As I Lay Dying...) but they do it way to much imo.

| Yeah. Breakdowns are fewer and usually shorter, if my first two listens are enough to go by.
There's also a lot of clean and/or slow sections, which makes it more interesting to listen to.

I love BTBAM.
I'm listening to Thirty and Seven right now. I like August Burns Red and their shows are always high octane, but I can't really listen to it for any extended period of time. I think I get bored or just uninterested after a while. But if I really concentrate its some great stuff.

| This sounds interesting... definitely nice to hear some different ideas on these songs.. While I did enjoy "Messengers", it really all sounded the same to me. Good to hear some variety on these new tracks. |

| This cd is so different from Messengers. Really. Oh my. And so good. Breakdowns avoid repetition to me because they almost always have a cool lead over them. So good. |
