Those are the turn signals (much better to block)...the headlights are the pop-up panels behind it.

I don't know, perhaps that wing generates so much downforce that it bends the light

That's what I thought of it anyway.

Yes.... but when they pop up.... I'd still think that they'd either be right behind the wing, or just barely above it. Either way, you're not going to see the pavement that is directly in front of the car.

That wing makes about as much sense as their window arrangement.

I consider them basically outliers. The "sports car" budget ends with the Exige S 240.

I will concede. Well played, Sir.

Yeah, once you get to that territory you definitely get hit hard with the law of diminishing returns. When you buy a Lambo, Bugatti, Pagani, and/or Ferrari you are paying for a low-scale produced car that has flashy materials and an exclusive name. The Exige is just a pure bare-bones sports car.....even though the Lotus name carries some prestige you certainly don't have alcantara/fine italian leather interior everywhere and a big-whopping-screaming V12. Shoot, the thing doesn't even have carpet.......but MAN does that thing handle well because of it (and all of the other weight saving tactics!)

In short, it's everything you'd expect from the Lotus company. They've always done it well. One of these would be awesome as well...
