| I suppose this is obligatory for me, in a 'favorite cars' thread: A selection of 911 turbos. Both the 930, and the 964 varieties.

| Wow, all 3 of my favorite car models have been covered here already (the M3, 911 Turbo, and Vette). Just so much history behind each of those cars. Speaking of the ZR1, my first weekend toy car I would love to own one day would be a C4 Corvette ZR-1 (notice the hyphen ). That is the car I grew up loving. However, my true childhood dream (and still today is) is THIS car!
I still will always look at that as the most perfect supercar of all time!

| +1 on the F40... FI FTW.
I hate to admit it but is still think the Countach has an amazing look to it.

I'd suggest that super cars fall into the Murcielago, Enzo, Pagani Zonda territory, and they are 3 times the asking price of a ZR1. | Meh, you're also looking at the same price range as a 911 GT3 RS. Audis are overpriced anyway.... 6 figures and up is house money. Not sports car money. Lambo, Bugatti, Pagani, and Ferrari are just hopelessly expensive, don't give you much more performance for the 600% price increase, and don't really have much bearing on real-world numbers. I consider them basically outliers. The "sports car" budget ends with the Exige S 240. |
