Xenosaga series

Has anyone played any of these games? I just ordered them all on a whim.... I have heard good things, I loved Xenogears, and I love JRPGs regardless.

I've always kinda wanted to tried out one of the Xenosaga games at some point, but I always would decide for something else whenever I'd consider one.

Let me know what ya think. I'm kinda booked up on PS2 JRPGs at the moment (just picked up Persona 3 and 4 over the past couple weeks).

Also... If they have random encounters, I'd probably have to avoid the games... That's the one thing I can't stand about JRPGs (particularly SquareEnix/FF games). The concept of walking a few steps and then getting attacked by some unseen force has always broken the experience for me. Didn't realize that until recently, either. Which is kind of a bummer.

Anyways, yeah... Lemme know how they are.

My package never arrived, so, sadly, I decided to find a used copy of the first disc. I have to say I am mightily impressed.
There is quite a bit of unplayable time in the game. The story is the main focus, which I like, but also, what some may find to be a selling point, is the fact that you can actuallt see your opponents!!
NO RADNOM ENCOUNTERS!!!

Voice acting is moderate. Not bad, and most assuredly way better than most JRPGs.
I highly recommend. Even if you find a copy for five bucks, which I did, you should get this game!
