Really it just depends on the style of music, and whether you are playing rhythm or lead. I prefer notation myself, but when playing rhythm, I like TAB.

Depends. Generally I prefer tab, especially if I know the song, as I can find everything quicker. My notation reading has become so shocking.

Although, that is due to tab, in all honesty. If I had to read actual sheet music instead of tabs or chords, I daresay I would recognise notes quicker.

He was crushed for our iniquities;
The punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
And by his wounds we are healed.
