| Amp Maker Suppliers Looking for a supplier for my amps... I need somewhere that makes head cabinets mostly and maybe a chassis with perforated or mesh-style tops so I don't have to make holes for tube sockets...

| Just starting out, EricChipmunk and I, will by the end of the year be making and selling boutique amps.
With those prices I will probably just do my own cabinets, didn't want to but those are high. REAL high. Plus I don't think any of them are big enough to hold my amp.

| thats fine man just tryin' to help you out!
I don't think there is much else out there I think the best way is to build your own it won't cost as much and you can do what you want with the costmetics.
what kind of amps you building? I'm actually really interested. are they brit styled? or more American? I've been lookin for a nice MV plexi style amp.
I build pedals to I kind of thought that was funny, not many people do that |

I build pedals to I kind of thought that was funny, not many people do that | The preamp section is very much like a Bogner Fish, however, we've changed the shark channel which was once described as "Vox meets Fender" however, we're taking the Fender out of it. We are also adding switching logic, which the Fish didn't have, and making some minor mods. The amp will have a tube buffered effects loop, and the power section will be a heavily modified JCM800 circuit utilizing 2 EL34s and 2 6L6GCs and will have the option (switchable) to run them as Both On/34s Only/6L6 only. There will also be an easy access bias pot and lead points to check and adjust bias. There will also be an additional switch that allows for wattage changes in the various tube options.
The Idea is versatility and pure awesomeness...
BTW, Brand name is Testicular Fortitude (TF for short) Amplifiers. The Amp is the Natural Disaster. Channels named Flood - Tornado - Hurricane - Global Warming... As it stands right now... names subject to change. Also for poops and giggles, our amps go to 11.

| We are also looking at adding fans and circuitry that would kill the hum they supposedly put out...

| Maybe just add a noise gate?
go look at the rockman smart gate circuit if you can find one, probably the best gate I've ever heard. |
