| What'd you guys think of it? I thought it was just OK, definitely not great. I felt like the visual effects were improved considerably, and that there were plenty of well-placed oneliners and jokes. Stewart still can't act very well, but it wasn't as laughably painful as the first movie. The rest of the cast did pretty decently, I think. Considering this was my least favorite book of the series, I was surprised that I didn't get bored with this movie like I did with half of the book. I wasn't thrilled with the ending, but I guess since that's how the book ends, it's good they stuck to that.
I am surprised at how well the movie did in the box office. $140 mil in the U.S. is a pretty hefty sum, and having the third biggest opening weekend ever is quite impressive. Either there are a lot of fans that saw it more than once, or the female fanbase is even bigger than I thought. Regardless, it should be interesting to see how "Eclipse" turns out and how well it does financially next June.

I actually think Stewarts acting in some of her other films isn't bad, but her acting so far in this series is just apalling. Like seriously bad. I still cringed in this movie when she had scenes. However, the rest of the cast was fun to watch and I really enjoyed Daktoa Fanning trying to prove she could play something other than sickeningly sweet goody two shoes. She was alright, but I will forever think of her as a little girl.
Also, there is a 2 to 1 ratio when it comes to females vs males on the earth. So the female fanbase is definitely larger then the male fanbase population. And I think I'm more interested in seeing Breaking Dawn to see how well they actually tie up the loose ends and if Stewarts acting improves at all in the final two movies. It makes me exceedingly glad though that it is only a four book series and not seven like Harry Potter. |

| I'm probably going to see it sometime. I'm apprehensive though. I thought the first movie was pretty bad. The thing I really didn't like about it was how overly dramatic and dark they made it compared to the book. Everything was too serious and way over-acted. I think they cast a few people well (Charlie, Alice and Carlisle), but for the most part it seemed like they just picked attractive people regardless of how well they could act the part of their character.
If New Moon continues being too dark and serious I probably won't like it. If they go back to capturing the spirit of the books, I'll probably like it.
I did like this book though. Not my favorite of the series, but way way way way way better than Breaking Dawn. That book should have been burned by the publishers and rewritten by someone who actually knows how to write

| I enjoyed it. Munch, much better than the frist. I don't have as much critic as others, but there are movies that are better than this one. I still enjoyed it however. I recomend it to anyone (teenager and ↑ of course.)
I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

| This movie was pretty bad. The direction is terrible - why is there a 20 second pause after anyone says anything in every single conversation? Really awful dialogue as well. I thought the first one was kind of fun, this one was a lot worse. |

| The SNL digital short "Limelight", a parody of the Twilight trailer, with Taylor Swift was brilliant.

| ^ Lol, it was pretty funny. But there are even better parodies on YouTube, imo.

| A student in my youth group the other night summed up the entire twilight series very well, I thought:
"Pale pretty people with problems."

| I really want to see it. I saw the first one when I went home for Thanksgiving. I was a little creeped out by Edwards behavior through the whole movie. Other then that, it was good. Never read the books though.
