I agree with the others: don't go. It'd be different if she respectfully said "Alright, I understand" in response to your declining the invitation. But the fact that she and your ex stooped to the level of bashing you says to me that you should not go. In fact, if it were me, given the history, I'd cut all contact with them. Let your family go and have a good time, if they wish, but there is nothing to be gained from you going. In fact, it could even cause problems if someone loses their cool.
