Demos and Litions

Well since over the last week I've gotten back into the swing of CGR to some degree, I thought I'd give you guys a chance to check out some of my solo tunes, if you wish. Its mostly worship songs, some kinda corporate and some personal.

On my myspace now is one finished track, and five demos.
The finished song "Rest Well" was written in response to a close friend of mine dying all of a sudden of a seizure a few months ago.
The rest are demos. A couple were recorded in studio with various friends, live. And the rest were recorded in my friends basement and really do sound bad. But you can tell what key I'm in at least.. if I happen to be in a particular key at that moment.

So there is officially going to be an EP. I've finished recording the six tracks, now I'm fine-tuning everything and getting it all ready to go. I'm releasing it Friday. The album artwork is in my sig.

Well, I finished the EP. Six songs. Three of them are on myspace. Its actually selling more than I thought it would.. this just might pay for mac and cheese through my first year of college.

aaaaaand ten months later...

I suppose this isn't really to plug my band or anything, but I've got a video of me leading some worship up on my myspace.

Also, a rough demo of the Jared Anderson song "Rescue" mixed with "This is Your Life" by Switchfoot...

(oh, and just a note for the mods... I go to Jared Anderson's church... I've met him... he doesn't care)

I recorded a song today. I wrote it about a month ago.

It started out as a very rough "guitar and vocal track" demo. It ended up as a just-as-rough demo with many more tracks than was originally planned. It is still definitely a demo, just a bit more fun to listen to, I hope. Some of the melodies and chords really interest me.
