God does not get mad at us for sinning. Sinning is wrong, but God loves us no matter what. God loves us but hates it when we sin. When we sin, we dissapoint Him, he does not get offensive and mad. That is what I beleive.
As for the million dollars, if God told you that you would make a million dollars, you're going to get a million dollars no matter how hard you try not too (for whatever reason that would be

)
I think that God does have a plan, but we cannot ruin that plan, because that is what God has planned for us. He knows our sins before we were born and accounts for them in His plan. I beleive that for someone who loves the Lord, sin is used to teach us. We chose to sin, and he uses it for our good. That does NOT mean I think it is good to sin. I'm saying that God will use those past experiences to help us help Him.
I know that can sound strange if you interpret what I am saying the wrong way, so let me give an example.
Say when you were 17 you decided to start smoking marijuana, and it gave you a rough time. Now you're a youth group leader, and you have been noticing that one kid has been acting really funny lately. You can recognize the signs, kind of a "takes one to know one" thing. That kid has got his hands on some weed one time or another. But you can understand what he is going through, and you have the tools to help him out of it beause of your past experience, even though it was not something you should have done. God uses our mistakes for to fufill His will.
I like it when people back up what they are saying with scripture, so let me quote Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work for the good of them who love the Lord"
I just found a website that explains what I'm trying to say a little better.
Quote:
All things are not good. It would be mockery to say that they are. The death of a child is not good. Cancer is not good, drug addiction is not good, war is not good, blasphemy is not good.
But the Bible says, "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."(1) In the chemistry of the cross God takes things that, in and of themselves, are bad, and He puts them together, much as a chemist might take chemicals that, in and of themselves, may be deleterious and mixes them to make a medicine that brings healing.
Many of us have some salt with our meals. Table salt is made up of both sodium and chloride. By itself, sodium is a deadly poison, and so is chloride. Put them together, and you have table salt. Salt flavors food, and a certain amount of salt is necessary for health and life. We cannot live without some salt in our systems.
God can take things that are bad and put them in the crucible of His wisdom and love. He works all things together for good, and He gives us the glorious, wonderful promise that He will do so.

There is more from that website. If you want to read more
HERE is a link, I just didn't want to quote a whole lot and make my post longer than it has to be.
And I know that this conversation has drifted from this quite a bit, but I think Billgamesh's point where he said that we should " Become the one " was a great point. There is a lot of wisdom in those words. +1
