the nova is really a great pedal, i can be flexible on the price, i know it sounds a little high, but it is literally like 2 months old

i prefer to keep the adapter with the unit just because it uses 12v, which is rare

I think this is a smart decision on your part, (as someone who has sold gear with missing adapters,) often, if an adapter is lost, on ebay at least the price goes up almost double the cost of the adapter if you include it.


as to the guy who cut his... solder is your friend.
