| Just goes to show that Eric Mangini was right about this guy. Browns were looking to potentially draft him, then they got to know him a bit and passed on him citing attitude problems. Also, isn't this the same guy who teared up when Singletary chewed him out about something? What's he going to do when veteran DB's and safeties start talking trash and playing mind games with him? |

But he definitely has maturity issues. |

| Plus, I don't think Crabtree realizes how much it will hurt him to seriously sit out a year to re-enter the draft. Matching up against NFL DBs and Safeties is nowhere close to matching up to starting NFL DB's and Safeties. He has to see that his threat is a lose-lose situation, even for him.

| Tell me how the most prolific Return Man ever is no longer returning kicks. Hester done with special teams.
From a competitive stand point, it doesn't make sense.

| Most prolific return man? I'm not sure I'd go that far.... but he's a good one for sure.
Seems like a bad idea for the Bears, to limit him to offense only. Honestly, there's not much reason to limit someone who has that kind of ability to only doing one thing. He was the Bears second-leading scorer in 2006, without being on the field for a single offensive snap. They think he's going to do more this way? I'd use him in a Deion Sanders sort of role, minus the defense. Oh, hey, that guy was a pretty dang good returner as well.... |

| Name one NFL player past, or present that is better than he is, He averages 28.8 yards a return. That's insane and the only reason why he doesn't already have the record for TDs is because the bears are trying to convert him to WR and stopped playing him on special teams. I don't understand why he can't do both.

But he definitely has maturity issues. | I see your point, but it's one thing to get chewed out by your coach (even if he is a hardass like Singletary) in training. If you can't take that, how are you going to take vets in the secondary getting on your case all game? A big part of the game is mental. I'm not saying he can't grow up, but I'm predicting he'll have a horrible rookie season, production wise. Fall of 2010, could be a different story, though. |

He will surely have a terrible season. It is typical of holdout rookies to have bad years. |

| I'm a little late to the conversation, but I agree Crabtree is an idiot. I'm embarrassed that he is from Texas.
I mean I can understand his line of thinking and would probably THINK the same thing as far as feeling that I should deserve as much if not more, but I would never DO anything about it. Honestly though I would take a pay cut to be passed up by the Raiders.

| Crabtree should take a look at Tom Brady. Take what you are offered, then prove they were wrong, then cash in on your next deal. EVERY team passed on Brady, and he was drafted long after other QB's, but he had the drive to prove something and found the right system to do exactly that. The money will be there later (barring injury) provided you prove you are worth it.
I have issues with these crazy rookie salaries! I can only imagine how the veteran players feel. |

| The vikings play indianapolis tomorrow. I'm getting more excited. This off-season went really fast for me. I'm hoping for big things for the Vikings.
