Anyone here went to Liberty University or Liberty Theological Seminary? I'll be going into their MDiv program in the fall. Any awesome stories, warnings, or encouragements would be great.

I went to Liberty University, as a resident student. The people who work in the financial aid office do not know how to do their jobs, and because of their mistakes I had to switch to the cheaper online program, after taking a semester off. I would warn you to be extra, extra careful to make sure that the people in the financial aid or student accounts office don't screw up your student account. They really do not know how to do their job.

Their theology is extremely Arminian, to the point of being hostile to anyone that's even close to Calvinistic. At least that's the way it was when I was there.

The head of the Seminary (Ergun Caner) is somewhat arrogant. Demeaning to those who disagree with his theology.

If you're doing resident studies, be very careful where you park, or you will get towed.
