Creed

Creed is back for a new album and a new tour. I just bought a nice ticket package for me and my wife (mainly for my wife since she's the biggest Creed fan ever).

Are you trying to go on a date with his wife?

I saw Creed live back in '99 right before they REALLY broke into mainstream culture.

I'm not their biggest fan, but I like some of their songs. I'm looking forward to it. Haven't been to a concert in a long time, and this will certainly be the biggest concert I've ever been to. I hope they play some songs of their new album.

lol. I'm not sure I would call it a date. She's just going to be staring at the stage the whole time, screaming like a 12 year old. Maybe we can go to dinner before the concert, so it qualifies as a date.

Wow. That's 10 years ago. Dang.

I had no clue Creed were getting back together. That's a real surprise to me.

Just saw them live last month. While it's clear that Stapp's vocal ability has declined, he's certainly sounding a lot better than he did a few years ago. And the rest of the band still sound great. I've heard both their new singles ("Overcome" and "Rain"), and while it's quite different from their older stuff, it's also quite good. I'm very excited about the new CD (which comes out October 27).
