what did you find wrong with Final Fantasy X's ending? out of all the ones I've seen. (darn near all) I felt X was better than most.

If anything VII had a horrible ending.

Now if you meant as a series and included X-2 in there, I couldn't agree more. So long as you didn't achieve at least the good ending. (I didn't my first run through).

Assassin's Creed's ending was sweet, dood. It was like the only cliffhanger that didn't feel like a ripoff ever.

yeah i liked the game but what about Raven?

Fallout 3's was a letdown considering the rest of the game achieved such high excellence.

Indeed...Memories of sitting there, celibratory beer in hand, on the final lap of das NURENBURGRING only to find...nothing, not even an achievement. I felt a little bit of me die inside that fateful afternoon...

Let's see,

Final Fantasy VII - Even with the corrected translation on the FF7AC DVD, it still leaves a sense of, "WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?"

Super Mario Bros. (along with many other early games) - "Congratulations, brave warrior. You have bested the fires of hell and conquered the devil himelf..... Now do it again. This time, with feeeeeeeeling." Yeah, how 'bout you feel my controller in your cartridge port?.......
SIDEWAYS!

Of course, that's still somehow better than the ones that give you a single page of text summing up the entire denouement of an epic journey into three - five sentences. I'm looking at you Metroid!

I don't put as much stock in endings myself. Every time I hit the end I go right back in to my last save spot to start working on minigames and so forth to get to the really epic boss fights. (I have a few stories of those that were real let downs, but that's a different thread)
