GTA San Andreas is up there, since suposedly CJ gets capped by Toreno after leaving his mom's house.

Video games have endings? What do you mean...endings?

Asteroids ended when the Atari got too hot and cut off.

No... Asteroids didn't end until I beat the high score that my brother set earlier in the day. (We had the full sized one for a while...)

What was wrong with Halo 2's ending? it kind of had to be a cliffhanger because of the next game wrapped it up.

Least satisfying ending I have ever has was Microsoft CFS3. basically all you get is a pop up screen thats says "the war is over, great job". That is after a good year or so trying to push the Germans back to Berlin. and all you get is a "good job"! I couldn't believe it. no short movie, no guy talking, nothing. I was not happy to say the least.

I would agree with Halo 2, but knowing the massive success of the game you had to know there'd be another game to finish the story.

In my limited experience, I'd say Unreal Tournament 3. The story isn't all that great (or even necessarily there) to begin with, and then it ends on a cliffhanger. Laaaaaammmee.

I know halo is a great game but a lot of great games by the third game either suck or aren’t as good
I don’t like halo 2 the worst in the series I believe but it Is still a good game
i guess since I skipped halo 2 and went form 1 -3
I don’t like it as much

Half-Life 2 was a good cliff-hanger but it was too good: I was really frustrated that it ended. And it took a long time for Episode 1 to come out.

VII had a horrible ending? I mean, come on, you knew it couldn't be stopped... did you see Advent Children?

I totally agree about X and X-2 though. X's ending was fantastic, X-2 should have never happened though.

I recall Donkey Kong and Centipede ending in similar fashion for Atari. I NEVER WON!
