I recorded a demo of the song tonight, which I've attached. It's an electronic pop song. There are some things I want to change already but I won't say what they are, I want to see what ya'll have to say first.

I know there are a few spots where the auto-tuning gets kinda weird, but like I said this is just a demo recording.

*edit* there is some swearing in the song. If you're offended by the "s word" please don't listen.

Wow, I didn't read the comment about it being electronic pop so I was surprised when it started playing xD

I liked it. Very soothing and catchy. My only complaint would be the swear word. I'm not offended by it, I just think it demeans the song because it's completely unnecessary.

That's my opinion.

For some reason, saying "stuff" or any other word instead of the s word just didn't sound as striking to me and I wanted that line to have some edge. I've been considering taking it out but I feel like I'd be censoring what I want to say and I don't know how I feel about that.

Well, as to the swear word thing, if you say you're a christian, swearing in a song totally makes you lose your Christian Testimony (this is still a Christian site, right?)

I would say that the "s word" was unnecessary. I have no problem with the word and I don't think it somehow makes you lose your Christian testimony, but it just seemed unnatural in the line. Adding the "s word" to a line does not "give it an edge".

Overall I enjoyed the song, I thought the first verse was a little slow but it picked up nicely after that. Definitely an interesting style.

And that's perfectly legitimate. It's your song, do what you want with it. What I said above was just my personal opinion.
