7 - Not a bad CD, but could have been better in a number of places.
6 - Pretty good for it's genre, but overall it's only acceptable.
5 - Decent CD, but only if you're a big fan of this genre.
4 - If you love this band, you'll like this CD. Otherwise, probably not.
3 - If you're a fan of this genre, the CD is barely acceptable.
2 - If you're a big fan of this band, this CD is tolerable.
1 - Even if you like this band, you won't like this CD.

Falling Up is so unpredictable! i like this cd a lot- but it's unlike anything i've ever listened to. the fact that it was based on Jessy's screenplay was pretty cool, though it's really hard to understand exactly what happens to the character on his travels. the plot is really cool, though. the bass improved, the guitars were pretty good, and i'm glad that Jessy's style of writing really works with the cd. my favorites are A Colour Eoptian, Streams of Woe At Acheron, Panic And Geo-Primaries, The Moonn And Six-Pence, and The Goddess of Dayspring Am I. but if you didn't like Captiva don't bother listening to this one.

Fangs is a cool album once you can accept that they're not the same band anymore. I think Captiva made this one an easier transition for me. Fangs has a "spacey out of this world" atmosphere that goes along well with the screenplay. The guitars and keyboards also all go together well. Kind of reminds me of Pink Floyd a little. I'm glad they have found their own sound rather then following trends. I enjoy every song for the most part. The songs that stand out to me the most are A Colour Eoptian, Lotus and the Languorous. Streams of Woe at Acheron, Golden Arrows, Panic and Geo Primaries, Goddess of the Dayspring am I.

| 9. A really, really cool album. I was very excited when I saw that it was produced by The Dear Hunter's Casey Crescenzo. I was definitely not let down. This is my favourite Falling Up album, hands down. Cool ambient sounds.. the music just takes you on a journey.

this was an awful letdown of a cd. its supposed to be a story, but its un-understandable and confusing... only die-hard fans like it, but its not worth my time. great musicianship tho, just wish it had lyrics

4/10. What happened to Falling Up? I see creativity, but this isn't the same band, it isn't Falling Up. More importantly, there are only a couple of songs that I think are even good, nothing really stood out. I found myself deleting most of the album, it just sounds mediocre and bland to me.
