| When Christian Rock/Metal/Punk does worship Hey I wanted to start a thread where we list our favorite more worshipful stuff that some christian rock, metal, punk, emo bands have done (whatever doesnt fall under normal worship bands... ie dont list chris tomlin, shane and shane or crowder stuffs.) you know the songs im talking about... the one or two songs on each album that would be awesome to do in a worship set...
here are some example and some of my favorites
"Amazing Because It Is" - the almost
"All that I Am" - the afters (kinda a worship and rock band...)
"After the World" - Disciple
"Sun Sets at Dawn" - Hyper Static Union
"Wrapped In Your Arms" - fireflight
"Scars that Save" - Kids in the Way (this would be cool but have to redo the sound and singing style and keep the lyrics)
"Oh Child" - Nevertheless
"Another Name" - Philmont
"Fallen Man" - Relient K
"Yours to Hold" - Skillet
"For the Life of Me" - This Beautiful Republic
"Breathe You In" - Thousand Foot Krutch
"Some Will Seek Forgivness, Others Escape" - Underoath
also if you like switchfoot check out Jon Foreman's solo stuff (hes the lead singer and did some solo albums that have some good worhsip stuff "Your Love is Strong" and "White as Snow")

| "For the Moments I Feel Faint" seems like a much more obvious choice for Relient K.
I would add "It is You", "Praises" and "Where You Belong (Turn You Eyes Upon Jesus)" by the Newsboys.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

#13 | | not so bright | I heard "The Almost" do a version of "Your Love is Extravagant" by Darrell Evens that was good.

| Same Ol' Story by Flatfoot 56 or their version of Amazing Grace. Both are great.
