| Inception This is Christopher Nolan's next film.
Very little has been released about the plot, but it's basically been described as “a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.”
Leonardo DiCaprio has been cast in the lead role. Joining him so far are Cillian Murphy, Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard, and Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page. Also, there are rumors that Michael Caine may be cast in this as well.
The film is set for release July 16th of next year. I know it's a little early to be making a thread about a film set for a 2010 release, but I figured that fans of Nolan's films would appreciate the news.
What do you guys think? Personally, I'm hoping this movie will at least be close to the level of quality that Memento was on. I loved that film(I still believe it to be Nolan's best film of his career, followed by Insomnia), and judging from the incredible cast they have so far, this sounds pretty darn good.

| Cillian Murphy and Michael Caine both did interviews about this film recently: ReelzChannel.com Movie News: A Few Inception Details Sneak Out
None of them revealed much of anything about the plot (Caine especially couldn't because, since his character only has one scene and since Nolan wanted to keep the plot under wraps even from his supporting actors, he only gave Caine the one page his scene consisted of), but Cillian apparently got the whole script. He said it was extremely complex and amazing, one of the best things he's ever read.
This excites me very much. It's sounding like it's definitely gonna be on the same level as what is, IMO, Nolan's best film, Memento.

| This film definitely looks great. Especially since it's Nolan's first time working with Leonardo Di and 2nd time working with Ten Things I hate about you actor [i.e. Joseph Levitt]

| Probably one of my favorite filmmakers right now. I own Memento, love Insomnia, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and like The Prestige but only really saw it once. DiCaprio has been great when he works with a talented director and this should be no exception.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| Inception Trailer
Christopher Nolan's new movie is due out in July 2010. It looks like it will be quite a wonderful mind-twisting movie. Definitely looking forward to this one. |

| I think I may have already made a thread about it back when the first trailer was relelased, but I can't remember.
Anyway, I think this has the potential to be on the same level as Nolan's best movie currently, Memento, in that the way the story is presented and told just completely messes with your brain. Could really good.
Actually, Cillian Murphy, who's apparently a main character in the film (for the sake of secrecy, only the main stars got the entire script presented to them, everyone else only got the amount of pages their character is in), said it was one of the most incredible scripts he's ever read. That gives me some hope.

The only thing I can remember seeing him in right now is 3rd Rock From the Sun.

| The new trailer makes this look even better than the first one did.

| Inception Finally coming to theaters July 16th. I haven't been this excited for a movie in a long time. I love Christopher Nolan - everything he has done has been excellent. I saw Memento seven times in the movie theater by the way.
Anyway, the early reviews for Inception have been that it's a mind-blowing amazing film. Some are calling it the best of the year so far.
