Quartal Voicings

Here's a question for all of the jazz buffs out there. I know from reading that Quartal Voicings are built in fourths rather than in thirds like most chords are. However, I'm not to familiar with their make-up and they confuse me a little bit. Can someone clarify this a bit more? How would you incorporate this into your song or solo rather?

Harmonically, quartal chords are very ambiguous.

You can transform all suspended chords into quartal voicings.

Most seventh chords can also be altered (by dropping the fifth) to be quartal (three-note quartal chords always span a seventh).

This looks like a really useful page.
