It's brilliant. The daughter/father frame story is appropriate and well-done. There seems to be a change in mood with each of the four sections.

Very much appreciated. When Lee asked me to do another chapbook, I decided I wanted one that was one more focused and thematic, and I also wanted one that featured a great deal of poetry that no one had seen.

In writing something that was therefore meant to be separate from myself, I found that the chapbook became a clearer document of myself as a result, even with the translations and Homeric tributes throughout.

I chose the daughter/father relationship instead of son/father for a number of specific reasons, most of which tie into the overall meaning of the chapbook.
