Agreed.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Pitchblack has only been out for about a year (April of '08 I think).

Anyone ever use a pitchblack outdoors in the sun? Can you see it well?

Does anyone use this pedal with an acoustic? I heard rumors of a loud "POP" when switching in and out of tuning mode.
No pop with the TU-2. I use it with my old Taylor with a Fishman Rare Earth blend. Though I usually use it from the "tuner" output of my Ernie Ball Jr. Volume Pedal, the times I've used it straight thru to a direct box to the PA system, no problems at all with popping, nor any loss of tone. The tough thing with the acoustic is that it seems to pick up resonant frequencies once once in a while, maybe related to the body of the guitar picking up stage noise.

Turn your 'treble' control down as you tune.
