Anyone play paintball?

I'm playing for the first time this year on Saturday and I'm so pumped.

I have a friend who lives a couple of minutes away who ha put somewhere around $1,000 into it. He has a woodsball course and speedball course out behind his house and there's nothing like getting 10-15 people out for an afternoon of welts.

I actually don't own my own gun(marker, whatever) because my friend has four now. He has a Tiberius T-9 Elite, the Tiberius pistol(8-ball clip), an SP-1, and a Tippmann 98 Pro(which is generally what I get stuck with). He just got the T-9 so he'll be using it on Saturday - which means I get to use the SP-1. I'm so excited

What kind of paintball do you play, and what's your gun?

fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

we switched guns i even got to use the automatic

it is fun but man dose it hrut when you dont follow the rules

paintball is awsome. i only played a couple of times but i think im gonna get a gun soon. (ive been borrowing my friends') it hardly hurts any more than any other sports

My JROTC unit is starting a paintball team to compete with other teams. We will be using M16s that the National Guard uses to train their soldiers before giving them real rifles. They fire like 520 fps! They are really nice, however you better look out because they hurt.

No kidding. We consider a gun to be shooting "hot" if it's at 300 - 350.

yeah we got an afternoon shooting each other cominng up as well/

im going to see if i can borrow a "cup" from somewhere.
i just normally wear a t=shirt and shorts

I used to Paintball; it was part of my summer job for two years. I like Tippman 98 customs and used air. Much cheaper than CO2 in the long run.

I don't normally wear a cup, but I wear pretty baggy pants. And wearing just a t-shirt and shorts is just asking for big-time welts.

I want that job...

Tippman 98s are the best cheap gun out there. It's cheaper in the very long run... those compressed air tanks are freaking expensive.

Comparing welts is the standard post-game activity. "Dude, you shot me in the neck like four times!" "You laced me right up the side, six welts all the way up to my shoulder!"
