Random Questions...

My first random question is why when I sing without music I sound terrible, but with music there is such a significant difference...

Second... Is there anything I should feel other than my stomach inflating and deflating as I say lol... And a vibration in my nose are?

And how do i control my volume, yet still sing strong?

Other than ur stomach, you should also feel ur rib cage expand as you breath in and out. Try putting ur hands near the bottom of ur stomach and breath in slowly and then out slowly and u'll feel the expansion.

by controlling ur form. Trying sitting/standing up straight as you sing. And make sure ur not crouched down or ur back is hunched. Form is always important when singing.

No my voice doesn't feel nasally when i sing... But there is a definite vibration on higher notes... Like when I plug my nose my voice doesn't change so I am not singing through my nose (At least I think...) But no... its not nasally...

OK I feel the expansion... Anything else...

And will it take more practice to control volume? Or should I sorta be able to do it from the beginning?

Okay...I think I remember something like this from my singing lessons. I'll be sure to check out the notes again or check with my teacher.

Keep practicing with form and breath support, as mentioned before.

Depending on ur vocal range, then it could affect ur volume. And when u asked about the beginning, what do you mean by that?

All I can say is get singing lessons. It's helped me control my singing volume and use better form and breath support.
