It is MIA, but it has some Mexican blood in it. The California Series guitars were made up of American wood and all American hardware, but the finishing of the bodies was done in Mexico. Then they were assembled here. They were sort of a budget MIA at the time, sort of like the Highway 1's are now.

Says "Made In U.S.A." on the headstock.
