What is the Oldest T-Shirt you own

one of my most prized possessions is this 1988 or 1989 bart simpson tshirt. i got it when i was in junior high. it is about 20 years old, and i refuse to get rid of it even though there have been plots to throw it away.

what is your oldest tshirt and post pics.

I don't have pics right now, but there's actually a competition between some of my tees for the title of oldest. here are the top two:

one of them is from the mid-70s and is a pretty good contender for 1st place. it's bright yellow (although now it has some pale orange all over it as well, thanks to my mom soaking it in oxyclean in a bowl that was stained with tomato paste) and says "california" across the front with different pictures of typical california items. it sounds like a corny tourist shirt, but it's actually a lot of fun.

the other one is a red shirt that says "drink coca-cola" on the front in farsi and "have a coke and a smile; coke adds life" on the back in english. anyone who watched project runway when andre was on probably saw his shirt. I have no idea where he got his, but I am positive it was not from the mid- to late-70s. mine is a hand-me-down from my dad's college days.

I have a "Marines do it Best" Tshirt from the late 60's. It was formerly my days. I wore it regularly in high school, but it's in "Shirt Retirement" right now, so I only wear it on special occasions, such as military holidays. I would post a pic, but the shirt is in Memphis, and I am not.

I got it from a thrift store eight years ago - not sure how old it is. I still love it.

This is an awesome thread idea, by the way...

I've got a couple shirts to show. They're not as much old as they are completely worn down from many wears and washes...

I have a T-shirt that I really charish from about 1983. I was in the Navy at the time and we went to Grenada, and took part in liberating the country. I have a T shirt from there that was made by some US students at one of the colleges that has a picture of the Grenadan flag, and the words thank you for liberating us.

I don't have old shirts, but 2 shirts that are old to me... I am 25, and I still wear some white cheesy christian undershirts that used to be not undershirt quality when I got them in the 4th grade.
