| Cannot wait! I LOVE mewithoutYou! I've heard a couple of these tracks live (the angel of death came to David's room for sure, can't remember the other). I'm sure they will continue to impress...just like before.

| I'm honestly not that super excited about the new track. I like it, but it's definitely a deviation from their sound on "Brother, Sister", which I thought was excellent. |

| So there are now three new songs up on their myspace, and most of the album is floating around youtube. It is a very big departure for mewithoutYou, it is safe to say. However, I am very impressed with what I've heard so far. What's anyone else think? |

| Yeah, it will be impossible for them to turn me off completely but I do hate that they're departing from their previous style. "Brother, Sister" and "Catch for Us the Foxes" were two of my favorite albums of all time. Every thing I've heard off of it so far I've liked but it just lacks that mewithoutYou-ness. Lyrically they're not letting up though. Their message is still STRONG.

| Some of the lyrics I've read so far are absolutely marvelous, but I preferred the sound of Brother, Sister and Foxes.
I read somewhere that the previous albums had all been songs taken from Aaron's experiences, but for this album they all worked together to craft the ideas and questions behind the lyrics. I'm interested how this will affect the content, because the band does not share a common belief system, if I understand correctly.
Something else that I thought was interesting, the title of the album is a reference to the Sufi religion. |

| I don't see the new album as a drastic departure....they've changed and progressed with every single album. 'Brother, Sister' was a departure from 'Catch for us the Foxes', as was 'Catch..' a departure (very much so) from A--->B Life. This was a a pretty obvious direction for them to take. The lyrics and music are still exquisitely written, and Aaron sings or screams when it fits or feels right for what he has written.
The moment they throw that to the wayside and depend on their "sound" instead of their passion is the moment they will cease to be my favorite band. |

| One thing I do think I'm going to really miss on this new album is that, apparently, there is hardly any spoken word from Aaron. Its all singing. Don't get me wrong, I love his singing voice, but I really loved the balance struck between spoken word, singing, and screaming on Brother, Sister. |

While I believe mewithoutYou is best defined by their brilliant lyrics and the passion poured out in their song writing and preformances I'm still really going to miss Aaron shouting like he's trying to instagate a riot.

| I'm not so much going to miss the screaming, but more the soft spoken word. It really fit Aaron's personality, if you've ever heard him talk. And it always came across as very humble to me. |

He told me a couple stories about eating out of dumpsters…that’s about as humble as it gets.
