| I had guitar lessons today, but last night I spent the night at my grandma's house and left my guitar in my mom's car. The plan was that my grandma would take us to the music store where we take lessons and my mom would be there before we had to go in, and we wouldn't have to lug it around from place to place.
Anyway, that didn't exactly work out like we thought it would. It ended up she got caught in a crowd at some sale and couldn't get out for a long time, so in the end I got to play a really cool Ibanez instead of my strat. The Ibanez had a really thin neck, but I have never really played anything besides my strat, which has the like biggest neck you can get for a strat. Now I can't stop thinking about that Ibanez. He said that they were really good guitars for the money, and that the one I was playing was only $400, and he had just bought one a few weeks ago at a pawn shop for $200, and it was really worth $700 or more.
I really really really want that guitar. I just don't know if he meant it was worth $400 in its current condition (it was clearly used and a little banged up, but I don't really care) or $400 new. If it was $400 new I would seriously consider seeing how much they wanted for that one. I loved it, and if I could get it for under $300, I would buy that thing in a heartbeat.

| I have an $800 Fender Strat and a $300 amp that my dad got 15 years ago. Then my uncle gave me a squire bullet, and I got a Squire SA-100 acoustic.

| Yesterday was soo cool! We got up to get ready because today was field day for my co-op group. We were the ones who were supposed to bring the food and waters and stuff so we had to get up early to pack the car and stuff. It started at 9:00, but we got there a little bit early.
Not as many people showed up for this field day as they usually do, but it was still great. We played dodgeball and won even though it looked like we were gonna get creamed. Then we played kickball and won that too, then there was some just stupid party games and stuff and tug of war (which we also won).
The coolest part was after it was over though. I went over to one of my friend's house (really more like mansion, they have 60 rooms and 11 kids) and hung out over there for about 6 hours. They have this neighbor that is really rich and spends a lot of money on stuff that he never uses just because he can, and he had bought a bunch of land behind his house and put a path through it that we drove down on my friend's golf cart. They also have a really cool Suziki Samurai thing with no roof that they bought just to ride around thier huge house in. (And when I say huge, I mean HUGE. They have a tennis court in thier back yard)
We left thier house about 7 to go to a baseball game. It was really cool. They had box seats right beside the edge of the field. The only people there were me, my little bro, four of the 11 kids, and we met two guys at the game. We left at the eighth inning and went home. I went to sleep around 1 AM and slept in for a while today.

| Man, I was so tired today. I didn't sleep much last night and I had to wake up at like 5:30 this morning to cut the grass. I was so sleepy that I almost fell asleep in Science. So I went to the couch to lay down for a while then get back on school, and ended up sleeping 4 hours. That pretty much killed my school day and I took off early, so that means I'll have to make it up sometime later , but then I think, how many people have the ability to just decide to go to sleep in the middle of school.
I got Jonny Lang tickets today! I'm really excited. The only thing is that there are 6 people going (my mom, dad, me, and 3 bros) and they had to split us up so there are 2 seats on one side of the stage and 4 on the other side.

| Yesterday was boring. I had nothing to do all day, so I had to play online or video games all day. Thursdays are the day we go to get music lessons, and two of my brothers started this week. (the drummer and the bass player). Unfortunaltly, we set the drum set up right beside the computer, and now he has been practicing a lot, and it gets really annoying sometimes. Plus they are in a small room and the bass stuff is in the room right beside this one, so I could hear both of them all day.

| Last night was soo awesome. I slept in until about 10 yesterday morning, and didn't have to do anything all day, so I just hung around and played video games a lot.
My brother had a piano recital at 3:00, and we had to get all dressed up for that, which I don't do much because I hate doing that. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. What was kind of funny was that it was a recital of one person's students. My brother has only been taking lessons from him since February, and is his newest student, but there were still people that had been taking from him a while doing way worse than my brother was. Then I kinda started realizing exactly how much time he spends practicing. Sometimes he will go into the closet we keep our keyboard in and play for a few hours straight. That was kind of weird noticing how much effort he really does put into his playing.
My grandparents and one of my uncles went to see him play too, and since we go to thier house every Sunday to spend the night, we rode home with them. When we got back to my grandparent's house my uncle called this guy he knows who has two 12 year old kids that play guitar and bass really well. We went over to their house and played around on guitar and bass for a few hours. It was really fun. One of them taught my drummer brother to play Wipe Out, and I picked up a few things on guitar too.

| I woke up early this morning to mow grass, and worked outside until 10. Then I had to get straight on my school. I got finished by 1 this afternoon and played around on guitar for a few hours, then piano, then I decided to play around on the computer, which leads me to now.
I am almost done with school for the year, which is really cool because this will be the first year I actually finish on time.
